The emails I send to the council continue to go without a single response. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the silence from the town feels so heavy, but I refuse to let this idea fade away.

Reaching this point has been a long road and I am genuinely tired but your support keeps me moving forward. It is clear that the dream of recognizing Killarney as the home of Chief O'Brien is something we all truly believe in.

I gladly sign this petition to honour the birth place of fellow Irishman Miles O'Brien
We have a plaque for Montgomery Scott in Linlithgow, near Edinburgh. So one in Ireland for Miles O'Brien makes sense!
A great honour for a great character. And I agree with Alan, if Iowa can be recognised as future birthplace of Kirk then why not Killarney for the Chief
Think Miles was from Dublin. Is Colm from Killarney? This is great though. Love Chief O'Brien. Hope it happens!
This is not only a necessity, it is our duty as future citizens of the United Federation of Planets that we honour one of our very own, a legend not so much in the making but yet to be made. We all know how influential a person he will be and it would be a downright shame if Miles Edward O' Brien is not celebrated in this way.
