Denise has been great not only at Tarkington but for the whole State. She has been a great faithful contributor on several TGCA committees and is a wonderful person. I’m so happy and proud to call her my friend!

I’ve had to honor of being coached by Denise Johnson, and had the privilege of working with her. She is an extraordinary coach and co worker. She has shown her love for Tarkington for over 35+ years. There is no one who deserves this more than she does. She has touched the lives of so many in positive ways. She not only is one of the most successful volleyball coaches in the state of Texas but she has created a legacy here at Tarkington.

I have known Denise since our girls play club volleyball. I cannot think of a more deserving person for such an honor. Since our meeting all though years ago I have had the privilege of see her devotion the her sport and her players.
