On August 26, 2021, a cowardly suicide attack at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan claimed the lives of 13 American servicemen. One of those killed was Marine Cpl. Humberto Sanchez, of Logansport, Indiana. His loss has sent ripples throughout his home town.
