Two Castles Housing Association have submitted plans for a development of 25 affordable residential properties (Use Class C3) including associated landscaping and highways works. A petition against the proposal has already been submitted with 175 signatures on it, claiming that there is not the need for these homes. We believe that this is incorrect and that there is very much the need for these houses. Young people, people who grew up in the area are being priced out of the market for homes in their home village. People who want to move back to the area aren't able to move back due to overpriced homes. The chances of being able to get a council property in the village are low, and something needs to be done about this.
