we need someone who actually knows our streets and the people here. mikel has proved himself. keep him on!
He has done a solid job so far. Give him the permanent spot.
Finally some leadership that makes sense. He has my vote for sure.
Total respect for him. Sarasota needs consistency right now.
I have lived here 20 years and he is the best we ever had. PLEASE make him chief for real this time.

28 years is a long time. he knows the job inside and out. dont look anywhere else.
