The volume of traffic makes it unsafe for residents to drive to and from their homes. The light show has outgrown this location. It is very unsafe to have it on a narrow dead end street.

The Girl Scouts response to this neighborhoods plea is,at the very least, disappointing.

The residents of this town have a right to enjoy their homes and their holidays. Please respect that this is an unsafe environment to have such a large sized event and poses both a threat and nuisance to these individuals.

The traffic from this light show is not only dangerous for the residents of lake view ave but for the entire neighborhood as traffic blocks up and severely slows on Montauk highway. It is unacceptable that the Girl Scouts be able to use that dead end street as the entrance and exit of their show. If a resident was to do something like this in their backyard it would be an outrage. It is not much to ask that they move the light show. If it keeps growing in popularity the extra money can go towards funding the new location.
