Hold Zack Burkett Co. and TxDOT Accountable for Vehicle Damage on U.S. 287

Add me to the list of broken windshields.

I have chipped windshield and chipped paint

Have had 2 windshields broken and numerous friends and family members have as well.

Got two cracks on my windshield!

My windshield was busted 3 times.

Cracked windshield and dents on 2025 Chevy Tahoe. Days old still with paper tags on it

Sustained a crack in windshield from loose gravel being thrown up

Cracked windshield on a 2019 Ram 2500

Cracked windshield all the way across on Nissan Frontier when driving on US 287 when Zack Burkett made surface of road dangerous. Had to pay $450 out of pocket to replace windshield

I got 2 chips in my windshield from the rocks on 287

Broken windshield. Many chips too. Followed behind when they were scraping and no street cleaning was happening

Two vehicles sustained damage due to the horrible road conditions.

My windshield on my 2008 gmc sierra 1500 got cracked 2 different times in 5 minutes driving down 287 between 369 and Peterson road

My windshield on my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado got cracked on 287 between fm369 and wellington.

A few cars with damage would be expected. Hundreds of cars damaged within days and, a month later, I got a rock today! This shouldn’t have happened in the first place and definitely should not still be happening.

I received 2 chips the first time. I was I was at a safe distance until I had to pass the truck and the truck through them from the side not directly behind me I have since received four more chips on my windshield this isn't just a normal road hazard this was neglect by Zach Burkett after they were allowed by TxDOT to grind up both lanes on both sides rather than doing one lane on each side at a time text out gave them this permission to save Zach Burkett time and money if that's the case then a better job on cleanup should have been done but first and foremost should be responsible for allowing them to do both lanes at one time

Cracked my windshield

Windshield chipped and cracking July 1st by flying rock from a box truck passing me on 287 between 369 and Wellington. I’ve tried to avoid the road entirely regardless of how inconvenient it is.
