Coach Troy's knowledge of our student-athletes and expertise in football was a huge advantage to the RHS football team. He put this skillset to work to develop our student-athletes into productive members of our community.

Along with his undeniable talent, Troy has always been an absolute joy to be around. He is a true team player, always fosters positive discussions, and brings the best out of other coaches.

It is my opinion that the Head Coach be someone that is: a Berks County resident, understands the socioeconomics of Reading, is engaged or employed by the school district, knows football, can coach, is present, resonates with our community, can recruit kids within the district, and is willing to communicate with the student-athletes as well as parents to rebuild the program. Simply put, Troy Godinet checks all of the boxes.
