Coach Troy's knowledge of our student-athletes and expertise in football was a huge advantage to the RHS football team. He put this skillset to work to develop our student-athletes into productive members of our community.
Along with his undeniable talent, Troy has always been an absolute joy to be around. He is a true team player, always fosters positive discussions, and brings the best out of other coaches.
It is my opinion that the Head Coach be someone that is: a Berks County resident, understands the socioeconomics of Reading, is engaged or employed by the school district, knows football, can coach, is present, resonates with our community, can recruit kids within the district, and is willing to communicate with the student-athletes as well as parents to rebuild the program. Simply put, Troy Godinet checks all of the boxes.

I 100% in support of Troy Godinet being our next head coach. As a resident on the city and with 2 kids in the district there is no other person more suited to do the job. He is a true inspiration to all who come in contact with him, he is a born leader of men and has a breadth of football knowledge unrivaled by most.
I’ve known the guy since my freshman year. I be seeing him in the halls as a security officer asking how my day been and stuff. He cares for his students. If its not Coach Troy idk who it is bc it ain’t Reading with him
Not only is he a phenomenal coach but he is a phenomenal leader to these young men something this city needs now more than ever!
Coach Troy brings a completely different positive attitude to the games and practices and treats his players like his own family. He always puts his players before himself. I feel he deserves to be the head coach of RHS
Very respectful and caring person my son was injured and on a Sunday afternoon he came to visit him to see how he was doing. That touch my heart he really didn’t but because he cares about every player he did what was the right thing to do and show that he cared.
Good coach vote for troy
