We the undersigned are opposed to the proposed changes to the service on the Route 6, Route 18, Route 3, and Route 16 OC Transpo Buses to be implemented 4 September 2011. The basis for this opposition includes, but is not limited to, the changes of: cancellation of the Parkdale Avenue portion of the Route 6 Bus, cancellation of the Route 18 Bus west of Preston Street, cancellation of the Route 3 Bus, and reduction in the service times & cancellation of Ottawa General Hospital portion of the Route 16 Bus.

OC Transpo continues to ignore our neighborhood needs while planning these reckless cancellations. I have been documenting your stories about how these cuts will trap seniors and commuters alike. If they think we will let them dismantle our transit access without a fight they are dead wrong.

OC Transpo clearly underestimated our resolve when they decided to strip away our essential bus routes. This surge in support proves they cannot simply bulldoze our neighborhood transit needs without a fight.

This is going to make getting to the hospital a total nightmare for my elderly neighbor. Why do they always target the routes people actually rely on?
fix the routes. people need to get to work on time!!!

Ridiculous. Taking away the bus on Parkdale leaves so many of us stranded. They clearly don't live in this neighborhood.
