This protest is to support our teachers and save their jobs. Hillsborough County Superintendent Addison Davis wants to cut 1,000 jobs: Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Social Workers, AP's, Psychologists, etc. Anyone who participates in the walkout on 4/30 will not be punished and will not be put on magnet probation. Leave during 8th period to Curtis Hixon Park. There is power in numbers, so bring your friends.

I have been hearing from so many of you about the fear surrounding these job cuts and your stories are the only reason this is moving forward. It feels like a lot to take on but seeing you step up makes me realize that this is truly about our community protecting its own.

Budget cuts and poor management has sent me and other students reeling in a time of uncertainty. Our superintendent is supposed to be a trustworthy and reliable individual, and we have seen that this is not the case is Hillsborough County.
Save the arts. Save out teachers

My teacher is the only reason I passed math this year. stop messing with our education and leave the staff alone.
