Final supporters
The Communication, Media and Culture course of Panteion University is located in Athens, Greece. It first operated in 1990 and was the first Media course to be offered in Greece's educational system.
It's goal is :
a) The theoretical and historical-empirical exploration of the phenomenon of communication,
b) the creation of executive staff, public relations in the public and private sector,
c) the training of journalists and executives for the daily and periodical press and for electronic means as well as
d) the preparation of managers of all forms of communication and information
It specialises in three main courses :
a) Cultural Studies
b) Journalism
c) PR and Advertisment
In order for classes to be able to function properly lectures of these three courses, especially the PR and Communication and the Journalism course, have to be attended in laboratories.
Hill, the department lab of Panteion is located in Plaka, Athens, Greece.
PR and AD postgraduate students are summoned to attend lectures in that laboratory daily. Unfortunately, this particular class room is highly unequipted and dysfunctional in many ways. From a small total amout of computers to very few chairs that do not add up the the sum of the students, studying is a unbearable burden students have to carry and a solution needs to be found.
On behalf of the PR and AD course, we are a group of students who came to a conclusion and decided to form this petition in order to request the help of both students and professors so that the lab can be remodeled and transformed into a more healthier and comfortable place to study and work.

CLEAN UP THE PLACE. Its embarrassing that a university lab looks like an abandoned storage unit.
The computers at Hill are literally from the stone age. How are we supposed to learn editing on machines that crash every 5 minutes?
Fix the AC and the broken chairs. It is impossible to focus when the room is falling apart.
It us about time that Panteion university supports the Hill space the way it deserves to be supported. There are spaces that are filled wirh garbage that could be actually uased by the students. Also the technical equipement needs to be updated and what needs to be fixed should be fixed immediately as the students' learning process falls behind.
More chairs for the students in order to be at least as many as them. More computers in order to be one computer per two persons. A better sit arrangement.
