The Highland Board confirmed this morning that Mr. Sifers has been hired for a full time position. We secured this outcome by delivering our formal request directly to the superintendent. I will continue to monitor the staffing process to ensure this transition is finalized correctly.

The current volume of support is sufficient to move our request onto the formal agenda for the next school board session. My focus is now on drafting the official presentation of these concerns for the superintendent and the board members.

HE NEEDS TO STAY. hands down the most engaging teacher at Highland.
Make it happen board. Guy is a legend.
Total mistake if they let him go. He does way more than the full time staff.
My son finally likes history class thanks to him. Keep him on staff, he is great for the school.
Mr. Sifers is the best teacher I have ever had. He actually cares about us and makes the material make sense. We need him full time!
