CNA’s deserve a much higher pay rate than what they offer. It’s ridiculous if u ask me. Being a Cna is hard work and takes a tole on your body. Grocery stores make more fast food make more it’s not right.!!!

Cnas go to school and do so very hard work! We are the back bone of the nursing field! We should not be getting paid what a high schooler working at McDonald’s is getting paid!

I have been certified as a nursing assistant for over 10 years and out sucks knowing that the one thing that you are passionate about you don’t get compensated for the amount of work and heart you out towards your profession! I love the elderly and have had great experience working in the hospitals with an array of patients but dad you say I’ve never gotten paid close to $13 hour! A local Chick-fil-A had a sign posted stating they were paying $15 hour! That was a big slap in the face for me, I feel that we deserve a raise for the amount of work and care we give to each patient!

I believe that CNA are the back bone in the hospitals, and nursing homes. I will like to see how it will work without CNA'S. Patients will not be taken care of and lack of care. PAY THE CNA'S

I’m a cna in Florida, after 8 years I’m making $11.22 An hour!! My children work at a fast FOOD restaurant for one year and they make $12 an hour!! Our body’s are under constant wear and tear... we work hard, it’s mentally draining... we do it cause we love taking care of our elderly! It would be nice to be compensated accordingly! So that maybe we don’t have to work two jobs to support our families!

I have been a can for over 20 years and have experience in hospital..nursing home ..home care and private pay and I make less than 11$ n hour ...smh

I don't think this will work, but I would love for it to set a minimum wage level for CNAs everywhere.

I think there definitely is a great need for more wages and more quote ratio for how many patients per CNA. There is a great gap already in care the disabled and elderly and way to much turn over in staff.

As a CNA with high skills and proud to serve others For 9yrs now. I HAVE ONLY HAD A 30 cent raise IN 9 Yrs....Working short staffed under paid and under apreciated its hard to find others who want to stay in this field and help us help those who cant help themselves...The South In particular is way under paid for our job and eventually their will be no one to care for the elderly...who will be their to help us when we no longer can help ourselves if we dont get the pay and help we so desperatly need...
