I kind of disagree with location,If we are going to ride the Highway of heroes then ride the whole dam ride not just a hour of it. It was a better ride when we went to the peir, I have rode in seven of the rides and many when they brought the soldiers home. They deserve the respect for us to do the whole ride Thanks

shame on those who voted against. This town will never succeed if it can not change as the world changes. This would bring in tourism for the town and show support for those veterans who fought for everyone in this country (including those on town council) to have the lives they have today. This is a slap in the face to veterans every where

As a vet and born and raised in Port Hope. I find this to be very sad that the town continues to live in the past and continues to miss the boat on opportunities. Why not host the event on several of the vacant lots that were businesses used to be. This is a great cause and your vets deserve your support.
