I have formed this petition to show our government that wewishour Hendrie forestto be banned from hunting!!!

With all the current hunting accidents in the news this november..ie..a dog was shot,

a house was hit and we all remember Marianne Schmid, who was sadleykilled by a hunter while hicking in the Patterson Tract.

Itis a small forest in Barriein which hiking, horseback riding, hunting and other outdoor activities are allowed at the same time.

Our hendrie forest has the same conditions, and even though hunting is banned on Sunday's and only allowed oncertain dates, all of us have been out there and heard constant shots being fired during those times.

Its true hunters deserve space for theirsport...

But if this small forest from Hendrie rdto Horshoe Valley rd, and Wilson to Nursery
could be designated as a hunting free zone, we could all walk our dogs, ride our bikes, and hike without being the next possible news story.
