This is an effort to alleviate the financial strain on today's college student. With the high costs of tuition and expenditures incorporated with higher education, students deserve to save money and reduce the inordinate loans incurred as a result of attempting to better themselves and the country. This petition is being circulated to draw attention and potentially resolve the devastating costs of textbooks and the high probability of little to no compensation upon "buy-back" due to the seemingly constant release of "new editions". If successful, this petition would require textbook publishers to comply with certain "Edition caps" that would limit the amount of editions released in a given time frame or to redact a critical mistake or omission.
