My son is the second child to be seriously injuried on the so called 'safe' roundabout. This roundabout is heavy, it does not stop easy due to the sheer weight of it.

One boy has life changing injuries and this happened 5 years ago yet nothing was done about it other than a petition within the village to keep the roundabout.

I need your help and support to help Vicky and myself to get this roundabout removed.

Vicky offered to fundraise for a new roundabout, a safe roundabout but this was refused by the Parish Council of Grampound.

I cannot have another child go through what our boys have been through and us as parents to see your child in pain.

Just think what you would do it this happened to your child or a family member.

Please share, please sign and please help us to make sure this ever happens again

Thank you for your time

Sabrina

There are modern versions that are safe. If it is of historic interest move it to the heritage museum. Children love it but will also love a modern safe version.

You would think so yes. Go to google and type in boy injured and grampound park, read the story of the first child seriously injured. He has had to have numerous operations, his foot will never be the same. It is not acceptable

Two boys in wheelchairs so that a roundabout can be preserved for village posterity? It's not an heirloom it's a hazard. Remove it and replace it.

We don't let any children play on it due to the first injury . Our kids just say ' no we don't go on it it's dangerous so if they understand that at 3 years old why is it still there?

This should never have been allowed to stay after the injuries it caused my son! The sooner it goes the better! Put it in a museum if it's that precious but let's not ruin anymore kids lives!

My children use the park daily after school and I am amazed that a piece of equipment as hazardous as this is still allowed. I would fully support the removal of this item for something safer.

This piece of play equipment has clearly had its day. How many more children need to be injured to get it taken away. It shouldn't have to come from a petition to put this in action.

Please remove this roundabout two accidents of the same nature is more than just unlucky let's not have a third child injured before action is taken!
