Over fifty different groups count on this hall for exercise, a meeting place, and it is a great location for a family barbeque or reunion. It gets utilized for bridal and baby showers, election poling even Christmas parties. Over the years, Rostock hall has found its way into the minds and hearts of many.
It's simple. Without this hall, we shatter the dream of an integrated meeting place for young and old alike. The close knit groups move on and things are never same. Imagine having to rent elsewhere when you are already on a tight budget, and you also now have to travel a further distance.
Now imagine a renovated new facility that keeps the integrity of the old one and does not displace or lose the already established revenue streams. The curious come to check it out and word of mouth spreads so that new and interesting events and programs begin to emerge and increase the potential that was never there before.

I have finalized the formal proposal for the council members to review regarding the preservation of Rostock Hall. Legal counsel is currently auditing our request to ensure the document aligns with local zoning regulations before Friday morning.

The momentum generated by this petition has prompted the planning committee to request a formal briefing on our proposal. I am currently drafting a briefing document that outlines the specific economic benefits of renovating the hall instead of closing it.

I personally use this hall 4 times a week to help conduct senior fitness classes...it's perfect for our programs
It really is the perfect size for smaller gatherings. As our senior family members retire into smaller homes this has proven to be a good place for our extended families to come to for a Christmas event.
I am a member of the Perth County Pork Producers and an active participant in County level agricultural activities. The Rostock hall is an important hub for agriculture here in Perth County and it's central location ensures that people from all points can converge on a central location for discussion. It would be a shame to lose this important resource
I think our municipality should let the Optimists take full responsibility of the hall and that means no more unnecessary costs like feasibility studies and regular inspection costs. If local volunteers run the hall then it has a good chance to survive, but if our municipality tries to run it then it will look never stay viable. John Nyenhuis
For many years this has been a very important gathering spot for the small communities in this area. I have gone to bridal showers,birthdays and student public speaking events held here. It is a functioning part of the lives of the people within these communities. This building brings people together!
The Rostock Hall is a place well need in our rural area.
Please keep this hall open. It supports community groups that in turn make the community a better place to live.

We held our wedding here. It was a central location, just down the road from where my Husband grew up and it was beautiful. It had all the amenities needed and is the perfect spot to hold any type of gathering.
