My daughter will attend MVCS in a few years. At her preschool, I can see the importance of the playground to her development of self-confidence and social skills, along with gross motor skills and physical health. I look forward to a MVCS playground that is reflective of the great things I've heard about the school.

We were are local private school and moved to MVCS because of Great leadership, excellent teachers, Spanish bilingual program and proximity to our school. We had and OUTSTANDING YEAR!!!

It is only right and just to fund the MVCS playground at the heart of the Del Ray community not only for the benefit of existing students and Alexandria citizens who regularly utilize the playground but also to prevent liability actions against the City, potentially brought due to unsafe playground conditions. This simple investment by ACPS and the City at large which has been extensively funded by MVCS families, is a worthwhile investment for our City.
