Help Strays in Crete

Please carry on helping the stray animals in Apokoronas as much as you can.

A permanent clinic for neutering is so important to help reduce the number of stray animals.

Please do everything in your power to support provision of suitable premises for this continuing program.

Stray dogs and cats are not the only worry in Apokoronas, Barrel dogs in cruel conditions are still rife around the villages.

Frustrated with the whole situation here - we have taken in two dogs and paid for castrations and be unable to find home for them - now have 3 dogs ... with the added expenses for vaccines etc ... we have very limited resources and without a neutering programme continuing here the situation will never improve the life of animals.

Please keep helping the strays & abandoned animals , very importantly the neutering programme

Hope this will help, also educating the visitors to stop feeling the strays in restaurants as when there is plenty of food the animals will ready reproduce

Education on the care of and empathy for animals is essential. Perhaps a booklet talked through and handed out in schools could help.

I think it is essential to keep this service. Many of us help by feeding strays both cats and dogs and do our best to get them re homed. Please keep this service going.
