Please continue free neutering. When I have holidayed in Crete in the past the amount of stray cats is unbelievable. Neutering is the best way to prevent unwanted animals who have no control over their lives. Its not fair.

The poor animals cannot help themselves so we humans should try to make their lives more tolerable

A very worthy cause. It's heartbreaking to see stray cats rummaging through the bins, desperate for food.

We do our best to catch a stray cat or 2 from the dozens that our house at Almerida is visited by every time we go for a holiday there; if only everybody who lives or stays there could do the same, the problem would be greatly helped.

Think its a really great idea as we have 12 neutered cats and the other strays really need help

A hugely worthwhile campaign this and one that needs a lot of support

The stray cats and dogs are in abundance, they rummage through all the rubbish bins and if left to do so, they will probably cause or spread diseases. They can also be dangerous to children.

It is an unfortunate necessity that, if not tackled now will only get worse and have a negative impact on the area.

This issue certainly needs addressing. Its so depressing to witness all the problems with animal welfare in this area.
