Sam the tree was named after Uncle Sam and has been standing in Bryan, Texas since the 1800's. The city is trying to cut it down in order to build an apartment complex and we need your help to keep it standing.

While I am not the tree hugging type and I believe global warming/ climate change is a bunch of made up hype by know nothing do gooders, bureaucrats needing a job and shysters looking to make a lot of bucks off junk science, there are times when a man needs to take a stand and fight for a worthy cause. I am not sure this is one, but I'll sign anyway.
Don't cut down that man trees are cool and you ain't whoever tryna cut this down smh
There are some things that are more important than building. The tree should be a Texas protected piece of nature!!
I love this tree! It holds a special place in my heart because my grandparents actually met near that tree

We have too few of these trees left and they cannot be replaced. This is our history Bryan Apartment complexes are a dime a dozen.
