This is a disgrace and should not be allowed.

With so many mothers choosing to drive their children to school this road is going to be a nightmare to cross without a lollipop man there, surely children's safety is the number one priority

The hullbridge road is a very busy crossing, many cars even go on the pavement. So many cars are being used, and for us pedestrians it is becoming even more dangerous.

Brian does a very valuable job keeping the children of Elwood safe as thy cross a busy road. We should be encouraging all children to walk to school and crossing the road safely is important.

This is an absolute disgrace there's so little road safety taught to kids now at school and the only reason our kids are kept safe is down to lollipop women and men like Brian

Top man who loves his job

He is essential to the kids safety when crossing an over crowded over parked road with a main stream of traffic. Even when driving you can't tell which cars are parked and which are waiting to come through. Brian MUST STAY. You'd be endangering lives if you got rid of him! Safety first remember

Hull bridge road is a very busy road that children cross on daily basis some unaided and without Brian there will be accidents

If it wasn't for Brian I am positive there would have been several accidents. Brian does a grand job

Hullbridge Rd is incredibly busy, with many people driving terribly! The children will not be safe without Brian there to help them cross!!! It is imperative that he remain at his current post as Lollypop Man!!!!!

This is a ludicrous decision. I live on Hull bridge Road just a few houses from the crossing and you quite often have parked cars right in front of the crossing. Without Brian, parents with buggies and young children will be forced into the road to look around these cars in order to cross. How can this be safe.
