Considering the speed of some of the cars and the inconsiderate driving on Hullbridge Road I believe the lollipop man is an essential safety factor and of great psychological benefit to all the mums and little children trying to get to school

Absolutely ridiculous to take this safe crossing away. It is very hard to see past the parked cars at times and the lollipop man is a must.

Brian is a person who cares about keeping the children safe. It's a busy road and Brian is needed. I hope the person who decided this was a good idea is available in the event of an accident

My son goes to Elmwood school and every time I take him I see the value of the Lollipop man. The children are safer crossing the road with him there and the parents also appreciate his presence.
It is a small investment for the safety of hundreds of children so we must keep him.

Brian is an integral part of the elmwood community and has always kept our children safe. Children walking to WDF will still use Brian to cross safely

hullbridge road is one of the main roads in South Woodham and as a result is always busy but particularly so at school times. Removing the crossing man will increase the danger to children and parents crossing the road.
