People are actually talking about this around town which is wild but we need to push past this hundred mark right now because the harbor trusts are still ignoring us completely while more boats are looking at the maps to leave. If we can just get this surge moving before the end of the week then maybe real people in government will stop pretending the docks are fine.

That steps are being taken to undermine the economic viability of the harbour during one of the worst downturns in history is staggering. The manner in which it has been undertaken is reprehensible. Action is required.
The fishing fleet is very much part of the heritage of the town, and the needs of the fishermen must be given priority. Their requirements are mostly for affordable charges and proper maintenance of the existing facilities. This should have priority over any other development plans.
Born in Dunbar, my Father and his 5 brothers all fisherman and lifeboatmen, it would be devastating for the Dunbar community to lose this part of our heritage
Majority of my family r fisherman and I think it's disgusting the money the Harbour Trust are asking for. Do these people not realise how hard it is to make a living from fishing? No!!! I bet half if not all the Harbour Trust have never even been at sea. Remember Dunbar is a FISHING town always has been and always will be!!!!!
Utterly appalled by DHT and DHD treatment of these hard working men. DHT and DHD should be encouraging more boats to join the Dunbar fleet instead of inflating prices so the can eventually have their fancy yacht marina.
Dunbar has lost so much as it is,the heart has been torn out,all the assets have been stripped,we have community councillors who know nothing and do nothing to question the stolen arch from Lochend woods.

The harbour MUST be for fisherman first and foremost. Other development should compliment and assist this important industry not drive it out. The DHT should be ashamed of themselves for trying to drive the heart out of Dunbar. They should be providing discounted rates not huge increases!
