A hot bed of creativity and community will be lost if not for petitions like this. This area should be a legacy protected from rising rents and economical based development to provide a platform for future creatives to benifit from. These are the creatives who were partially responsible for the value of the area and therefore the speculation of its current value.

Improvements to the area should be made in the interests, and for the benefit of the creative industries.

The London Legacy should be about 'Sustainable Regeneration' of the community and NOT corporate gain. Value is not simply about money. The current community is a regional and national treasure and the legacy money should be used to save it, not destroy it.

I run Big Wolf Ltd, an artist agency based in Vittoria Wharf and not only will this destroy my business but the studios of many other creatives I represent. In the last few months, the agency has represented Vittoria Wharf musicians at the Olympic Park through Continental Drift agency; Vittoria Wharf photographers and film makers have been commissioned to work for Rooftop Film Club (number 1 outdoor cinema in London) and Vittoria Wharf actors, performers, face painters AND set designers are working on the Kingston Christmas Light Show, in partnership with Kinsgton-upon-Tymes Council and Cellardoor Promotions Ltd. The point I am trying to make is this community is full of talented creatives which has been recognised by respected companies all over London, I think you should take another look at what you are about to destroy. I will happily put more information together if it will help fight this application.

People and investment don't come to london because it's perfectly homogenous. What future does the city have when the only history it has left is the history that turned out to be financially profitable?

London needs to keep it's wonderful industrial heritage intact. Housing developments will completely sanitise a vibrant area and drive out from their homes a key creative community in London.

save hackney Wick! I have been living around the area for the past 7 years and it is one of the very few creative and original part of London left untouched and genuine. The community is creative, fun and inspirational for all us Londoners so let the good work continue.
