Marc ''SHOCKUS'' Delellis has contributed so much for the San Diego Skateboard community with his passion for skateboarding. He has helped grow and shape as well as inspired hundreds of people worldwide I think its only right to rename the park after his memory.
Mark Delellis was a respected cornerstone of the San Diego/OB skateboarding community and made an immeasurably positive impact on global skateboarding culture. His contributions to the sport will be recognized for generations to come and I feel it fit that the OB Skateboard Park bear his name.
Marc played a huge roll in why i decided to keep filming skateboarding and making videos. He ran a skateboarding website purely to help other skateboarders. He was truly a genuine person and everyone in The skateboarding community and so much more will miss him dearly. OB park should most definitely be called shockus skatepark!!
Marc Delellis loved Ocean Beach Skatepark to the fullest! looked out for everybody there all the time. Always in good spirits and having fun. Most pure skateboarder I have ever met. Thank you for your friendship Shockus! we love you!
My brother saw beauty & greatness in everything & everyone, even when we couldn't see it for ourselves. He enriched the lives of all those who knew him. Love you always Marc.

Shockus was a great friend to myself and many others. Ocean Beach Skatepark was his favorite place to skate. You would always catch him there every weekend morning. This place was like a second home to him. It's a shame he was taken from us so soon, but we should honor him at his most favorite place to skate by renaming the park after him.
