Help refugees from the CIS countries go to the USA
About a thousand refugees from the CIS countries are in the city of Reynosa , they all registered in Senda de Vida . Some of us have been waiting in line for months. We do not want to break the law and cross the border illegally. We live in hotels and buy our own food. But some people are starting to run out of money.
On the issue of sending us to the USA, we talked with Pastor Hector Silva, he said that there is a certain quota for us. The pastor sends more than 100 Haitians to the USA every day, he does not send us singles and families without children. In the city of Matamores Casa del Migrante sends Venezuelans to the US.
The problem is that neither in the United States nor in Mexico there is an organization that would help migrants from the CIS countries. We ourselves do not know how to turn to the US authorities for help so that they provide us with a quota and we cross the border legally.
We are people who do not break the law and run from war and political persecution, compulsion to take up arms.
When the government and migrant relief organizations hear us, many people will be safe and legal in the US sooner, find jobs and pay taxes faster. Refugees from the CIS work well.
If we are not heard, we will run out of money. We will have nowhere to live, we will be forced to illegally cross the border, we will be detention for undefined period. In this case, we will live at the expense of the US taxpayers. We don’t want this.
We ask you to help us, help us legally cross the US border, get a quota to cross the border.
