Help Preserve and Protect New Mexico's Night Skies!

Electronic billboards are an abomination. Other than filling someone's pockets, it is wasteful, unhealthy and does nothing toward enhancing security.

It is frustrating to those of us who voluntarily set up our telescopic instruments aiming at objects whose light started out deep in Paleozoic times, then crossed throught the entire Mesozoic Era of the Dinosaurs, all of the time of the Age of Mammals, more than 350 million years in all, only to have it lose all its glory in the last fiftieth of a thousandth of a second by illumination wasted on the night sky.

Please keep light pollution down so we can enjoy our nightly skies with all it's wonders

Utilizing both conservation of energy and smarter outdoor lighting, we can preserve our resources and enjoy them.

Please keep this part of the night sky dark. There are very few places like it in the US.
