He's served for our country what more is there to say obviously he's a big hearted person.. I'm sure anyone's else that was in his shoes would do the same!

I too was stationed with him in Baumholder Germany, and deployed with him to Afghanistan. He would in no way start a fight or look for trouble. He IS a family man. Where is the Justice? The man defends this country's freedoms and risks his own life for the safety and security of Americans to come home and be jumped by some of the very own he was protecting? All because a group of thugs want to act tough? If they want to act tough then go do what Darden did and go to war if so tough. Smh!

Michael is my brother, we grew up together from when we were In kindergarten. The man has a heart of gold and would do anything to help out if u needed it!!! Mike wouldn't be out starting trouble, he'd defend himself!

I know Darden from baumholder Germany and these accusations don't sound like him. He was always friendly and very humble person. I can honestly say from the time i got to know him he is not the type to look for fights.

mike is a great person we been freinds for about 15 years i love him like a brother he a great dude , he did somethin with his life , went the army he takes care of his family, we nees justice for my brother Michael darden thanks, I'll b prayin everynight for him

I had the privilege of being in charge of Michael Darden while he served in the United States Army overseas in Germany and while downrange in Afghanistan, I found this hard to believe what he is being accused of, when I first met him his size and demeanor made up my mind of what kind of person he was but that is far from the truth. He was one of the most standup soldiers and person I came to work with, there was never a task that I could not accomplish with this kid he always gives 100% no matter how big or how small the issue. He is a born leader and a protector of the weak he would take time to talk to soldiers when they had issues and help in any way he could by being a real friend, he is a very dedicated person for example when some soldiers could not pass their physical fitness test he would take them to the gym on his off time and get them right until they had no problem passing any event. If he was put in this situation I’m sure he did whatever he had to for a very good reason like his "life".

I have been with Michael. for awhile now and i can honestly say that he is a good man!! He does not deserve to be behind bars!!! He has served his country and is being punished for running for his own life! We will continue to fight without a doubt and hopefully justice will be served and my love can come home where he belongs!!!
