Watching Maya struggle with the quiet days has been heartbreaking and is exactly why this mission feels so vital. I am spending my afternoons researching trainers and shelters to prove to her parents that we are ready for the responsibility of a rescue dog.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels like a weight lifting off my chest for Maya. Knowing so many people understand why this dog is the missing piece of her world gives me so much hope.
