I spent the last hour reading through all the comments and the stories you guys are leaving about your own first pets are just the sweetest things ever. It is honestly proving my point that Kat has the grit to handle this responsibility because even these strangers see how clearly focused she is on this goal. I am still working on the slide deck for her mom even though my laptop is acting up again and making everything take twice as long.

Kay is the most disciplined and hard working kid I know and I believe that having a dog would give her little amounts of relaxation in her stressful life. Plus she would be so kind to it and her brothers would love having a pet to play with
