Mayor Choi and the city council have done what politicians do best...They have put their self interest and greed ahead of what's best for the community they are supposed to serve. The volume of support has secured a meeting with a city planning representative to discuss current zoning concerns. I am currently drafting a formal letter outlining our opposition to further high-density development for submission to the council. Updates on their response will follow once the record is officially on file.

Irvine is becoming another Los Angeles. Too many apartments. Not enough roads. NEVER enough parking at ANY shopping center. Back in the day, Irvine Company/Bren, WOULD plan ahead. Those words never, ever enter into a Irvine Company's contract these days. Very sad.
Too many apartments is causing over crowding in Irvine and it's becoming too hectic and unpleasant here. I grew up here, it was beautiful, quiet, there were open areas. Now it's traffic and buildings everywhere. Not how I grew up.
I remember growing up in Irvine when it was a farming community. Now it's becoming an over crowded community with rude people. We need to slow down and enjoy what we currently have. NO MORE APARTMENT HOMES!!!
I support this. We do not need more apartments like this kind. Quality over quantity.
Enough is enough, no more high density housing in Irvine. Traffic is miserable.

Irvine is becoming overly populated and the once desirable family city with beautiful views is now being taken over by apartments. Stop it!
