Keep the hospital the town is growing and needs a hospital the cost would go up in ambulance calls so in the long run it would not save the NHS anything

Yes.It is high time we have a full fledged new Hospital in Hemel.Watford Hospital A&E is a nightmare and I had experienced their total inefficiency when I had an unfortunate incident on August 2011,resulting in my partial loss of hearing .

Watford General Hospital is a nightmare to reach at the best of times for A&E in an emergency as I have experienced with my husband who has chronic medical issues. Having Hemel Hempstead Hospital fully functional as it used to be would not only take the pressure off Watford General Hospital but would better serve the community.

If we cannot have a new hospital, centrally located, for West Herts. , I support re-instating some services lost at Hemel Hospital. Watford cannot cope and is too distant, especially at busy times.

I want an improved Hemel Hempstead Hospital to get back some of it's working facilities for members of the public. Including A&E and AAU. I think think this is a serious issue in Herfordshire as it's affecting the care and treatment of the residents of Hemel but also the surrounding areas. Travelling to Watford from Hemel Hempstead is extremely difficult. Watford urgently needs to replaced by a new area hospital on a greenfield site.

It is ridiculous for Watford General to support such high density population in South West Herts. We at least need the return of A&E at Hemel with possibly either St Albans or Welwyn also being providing A&E again.

Hemel Hempstead is far too a big a population not to have its' own A & E and own hospital. Watford Hosp has proved itself unable to cope with the overflow of surrounding towns. We need a hospital here urgently - especially as the 'replacement' urgent care centre is now due to close permanently due to lack of staffing problems (reported in Herald Express 13 Dec. 2016.

I don't want Hemel ahospital to close. Would prefer a new one to be built equidistant between Hemel St Albans and Watford.

Watford Hospital is very hard to reach in any emergency situation. We need a new central hospital for the Hemel, St Albans and Watford areas with great urgency.

Watford is too far away and very stretched. The ride is bumpy and takes too long. Watford does its best, but just can't cope - we have used A&E.

What a state of insanity it is for the council to want to expand housing in Hemel by 20,000 or more and have no local hospital, Watford on a match day is manic !
