My name is Esther Perez, and I'm facing deportation from the US.
I moved from Mexico City in 1996 at the age of 9. We moved here for a better life. I lived in Colorado since then and established a life here and became a mother of my now 17 yo son who is my world.
In 2011 I was detained by immigration and kept away from my son for over 40 days. My immigration case started at that point and was finally able to obtain a work permit and DL. Today I am facing possible deportation due to a minor crime I misdemeanor I committed when I was 19.
My attorneys and I are appealing my case to fight and so that may be able to remain here. Close to my son and the only place I know as my home. My son has decided to join the US Marines upon graduating from high school and obtain a degree in engineering.
My son is my pride and sole source of continuing to stay and see him become the great man that he aspires to be. Separating is going to cause a tremendous hurt and stressful affect on both my son and I. Not to mention painful.
The one thing that can be a great help is a pardon from the Governor or a letter from Senate, Mayor, Congress or the Governor if not from each party. A letter or pardon gives my case a higher chance of being granted residency. It has been an overwhelming fight both emotionally and financially for my son and I. What I ask of you is to click on the link listed here and sign the petition supporting and fighting along my side and my son... a future US Marine to be able to stay here as a US resident. The growth of this petition has reached a level that allows us to present a formal request for a pardon to the Governor. My legal team is finalizing the petition package to include this evidence of public support for my case.

Esther is one great woman who deserves nothing less than to stay here in the U.S together with her son where she has grown as an inspiring woman. She fights for what’s is correct and to become a better person everyday.
I've known Esther for yrs and she's always been bout her family.. Mostly her son.. Always been bout building a positive future. Please take these words in consideration for and her family.. Thank you
It would be a crime to seperate a family like this after they have both been positive citizens of our great country. Please allow this mom the opportunity to be there for her son while he serves our country.
I have known to Esther for many years, excellent mother and very responsible in the work.
Esther has been a great example of the American dream. She has worked hard since coming here as a kid and has made positive contributions in all aspects of her life. Esther has been active in her community through church, active in her son’s school with sports and clubs, and a positive force in her job, going above and beyond to ensure home buyers loans go through with the least stress possible. Esther embodies what it means to come to America and thrive and flourish. With all my heart I ask that she is allowed to stay.
This is a great lady and family. Please help them.

Esther is a wonderful person, a responsible mother. She is on the worship team at our church. Please pardon her an allow her to stay in the U.S. with her son. Thank you.
