With development of the whole area about to get underway Heathrow has a great opportunity to develope and improve it's relationships with local residents and enthusiasts alike.

Totally in agreement. Just go to certain airports in Asia and most Germany airports have excellent facilities. I would not even mind paying a small fee.

The existing facility is poor , more suitable locations are availble around the airport and the new Terminal 2 also has possabilities IF thought about

Frequent visitor to LHR. Disappointed with the inadequate facilities for plane spotters. An RVP secure area would be a good acquisition for LHR.

The loss of the Queens Building facility, that was never really replaced, was the nail in the coffin for community provisions. With runway #3 on the way, could this be an opportunity to provide facilities for enthusiasts, travellers and members of the local community alike...?
