The Beach Villas at Ko Olina is one of Oahu's finest beachfront resort vacation rental destinations. Thousands of travelers from all over the world visit Ko Olina each year to enjoy the warm sandy beaches, calm lagoon waters and balmy sunny days on West Oahu.

There are two pool areas at the Beach Villas: the Quiet / Lap Pool adjacent the Ocean Tower building and the Lagoon Pool, next to the Beach Tower building, closest to the beach (as shown in the photo with this petition). The Quiet Pool is already heated, but the Lagoon Pool is not yet heated.

During the hot summer months this is not much of an issue, but during the cooler winter months, the Lagoon Pool can get quite cold, leaving Guests with a less than favorable experience. Many Guests over the years have actively complained to the Association, the Owner or Manager of the property they rented or in the form of a negative online review based on their dissatisfaction and disappointment upon finding out that one of the two pools is not heated.

There have been a few Owners at the Beach Villas pushing for the Association to heat the Lagoon Pool, but their efforts over the past 5+ years has not resulted in any change.

Travelers staying in Ko Olina vacation rentals at the Beach Villas at Ko Olina pay between about $300 to $800 per night, depending on the Villa, and expect the amenities to be up to par with the prices they are paying.

The amenities are fantastic and include the two pool areas, three jacuzzi spas, a full fitness center with dry sauna and steam room in the men's and women's locker rooms. There is also a beachfront bar, BBQ grills, a lounge area that can be reserved for special events, koi ponds connecting the two pool areas, and a grand lobby area.

The hope is that this petition will reach those who have been to the Beach Villas at Ko Olina in the past or may be planning to visit in the future, so that we can get the Lagoon Pool heated and create a more comfortable and relaxing experience for our Guests.

Please share this petition with any other people you know who may have stayed at the Beach Villas before and that would like to see the Lagoon Pool heated in the future.

Thank you!

The feedback from guests remains the same as the water temperature in the Lagoon pool stays uncomfortably cold. I am exhausted by the silence from the Association but I refuse to let this drift into another year of excuses.

Seeing this much support behind the proposal makes the long hours of advocacy feel a little less lonely. It has been a grind for years to get anyone to listen but we are finally building enough momentum to force a real conversation.

This is a huge deterring factor on deciding whether we book here or somewhere else with heated pools as I’ve experienced a bad vacation on the big island due to the pools not being heated. It truly is important when guests and owners are spending this kind of money

As a Property Manager, Owner of Love Hawaii Villas vacation rental management firm, and with family having owned at the Beach Villas since they were first built in 2007-2008, I fully support the initiative to get the Lagoon Pool heated. During the slightly cooler winter months we have had many of our Guest groups tell us how disappointed and surprised they were to find that one of the two pools was not heated. Hopefully this petition can bring awareness to the importance of the issue for the Guests and Owners at the Beach Villas at Ko Olina and help to ensure that all may enjoy the beautiful amenities on the property to their fullest extent possible.

I believe any Luxury resort should have a heated pool. It is Luxury. When people look for places to stay a heated pool will make or break the deal.
