The management company has officially agreed to transition control of our community back to the homeowners. This result belongs to everyone who recognized that our neighborhood deserves better stewardship. We will remain observant during the upcoming handover process to ensure the transition remains transparent and fair.

The HOA of Heartland Crossing (MGroup) needs to be handed over to the homeowners. They don't enforce their rules but they Have no problem taking our money.

A few examples: A barn that stood for over 5 years and towered over a privacy fence was brought to their attention several times over the 5 year time span yet nothing was ever done to have it removed. Why? Their answer was "We don't know who to ask to have it removed due to the house being foreclosed on". This was the answer we got years and years after complaining. After we spent time finding out who to contact since HOA wasn't going to do any research we found out the bank that owned the house should have been contacted regarding the situation and it would have been removed. Once WE contacted the bank that owned the house it was removed.

When contacted regarding road repairs they tell you to contact the city, however if the city is responsible then the city should also be plowing the snow, not a private contractor.

Dead trees in the common areas.

Box trucks and trailers parked on the streets without trucks hooked to them.

in need of ditching the private sewer company.

HOA has got to go!!! After the terrible snow removal job, my road was a sheet of ice causing a car to run over my mailbox. I got it fixed but it didn't have the diamond shape on the pole so HOA sued me and it cost me over $1000... Over a mailbox!!! They are worthless for many more reasons!!!

Hoa is capricious and does.not serve the best interests of the residents in a fair manner. Home owners are treated like renters and as if living in the community is a privilege rather than a right that you have paid for. This hoa needs to be administered by the residents.

I vote for home owners to take it over. If the home owners had more control it would be a beautiful place and a better neighborhood. No one cares because they feel they really are not in control.

I know my neighbor has a barn and a pool in his backyard but nothing done. I personally don't care bit if those are the rules then all should be the same. I don't see that the area would be any worse if the people did this themselves..way to much money for nothing getting done!

So bad on removal that the slush froze causing a car to miss the turn...go straight into my neighbors yard. Luckily it was weekend,as its the same spot our children wait for the bus.

What a waste of our money! I get a letter about my trash cans being tucked neatly beside my home and the house down the street looks like it's vacant because it's so trashed out!!! Really?!?!
