We are disappointed that the State of Alaska failed to strengthen the Final Finding for Gas Exploration in the Healy Basin (dated June 28, 2010), despite reasonable and detailed requests from local and regional citizens. We feel that the Best Interests of local citizens are not protected in the Final Finding.
The feedback from our neighbors continues to reveal deep concerns about how these industrial plans threaten our water and our quiet life here in the basin. We are currently preparing to present this growing collection of signatures to state officials to demand they finally acknowledge the reality of our situation.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that the people living here will not stand by while our home is put at risk. This response proves that our concerns for the Healy Basin are shared by far more people than I ever imagined.
