[Update: Cathy passed away Thursday 11/8/2012 around 11:30am. Her death was more peaceful than I could have hoped for. She fought courageously until the very end. I am so proud of her.  Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support.  We should all be comforted that she is now free from sickness and disease and will be with the Lord that she loves.]

This petition is being brought before God in accordance to His Word [Phil. 4:4-7] and with Jesus Christ as our advocate [1 Jn. 2:1]. We were promised that if two agree on earth about anything we ask, it will be done for us [Mt. 18:18]. Therefore, we petition on behalf of Pei-hsun “Cathy” Ma who has a brain tumor that doctors have not been able to successfully treat and who is currently in a coma and on life support. His Word says that God heals all diseases [Ps. 103:3], including ones in which doctors were not able to treat [Mk. 5:25-34]. Therefore, we ask God that the following specific requests are granted, all having a precedent in the Word. 1) We request that the cancerous tumor in Cathy be healed [2 Kings 20:1-11]. 2) We request that Cathy will wake up from the coma [Mk 5:35-43]. 3) We request that Cathy will have no more seizures [Mk 9:14-29]. 4) We request that Cathy will have full speaking ability [Mt 9:32-33]. 5) We request that Cathy will be able to use her arms and hands [Mk 3:1-5]. 6) We request that Cathy will be able to walk [Jn 5:1-15]. God, we thank you for being both willing and able to answer these requests. We trust in your provisions and will not be anxious about anything. May we have Your peace which surpasses all understanding [Phil 4:7]. We give you praise for what you are about to do.
