Sadly government cannot solve the problem. Calling in the army is not the solution either. Mitchells Plain was born out of an impure motive. God has chosen MP as a place for His glory to be seen. We worked in MP for many years as youth leaders and with the churches. We saw the protection of God upon the youth and their families in the midst of the violence. So my challenge is to the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Arise shine and let your light shine. Let the Redeemed of the Lord proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and set at liberty those who are oppressed and in captivity. Jesus by His grace can change things which mankind cannot change. External laws fail because people have discarded the internal policeman that tells them about what is acceptable or not. So return to the Lord God your maker and see your salvation oh Mitchells Plain. Behold the day is coming when your deliverer shall appear.

We are a strong community. Call to action the government whom we voted for to make the changes we need to ensure a future for the Mitchell's Plain comminity. Wipe put the violence on our streets and get back to the original intention for this city.
