The committee officially announced Haven as the Honoured Citizen of the Year. It has been a long road to get here but she finally earned the recognition she deserved all along. I am exhausted but mostly just relieved that we saw this through to the end.

Seeing this kind of movement makes me realize how many people truly see Haven for the heart she brings to this town. It has been exhausting to keep pushing forward but this response shows me that we are finally being heard.

Haven is a very driven young woman. She has shown great leadership and kindness in the years I have gotten to known her. The yearly clothing drive she organizes has been an amazing support and resource for our local community. She certainly is mature beyond her years. Haven's future is bright!
Haven is an inspiration to people of all ages! Her clothing drives have been fantastic!
Haven Rainer should be nominated as Chewelah‘s Honored Citizen for all her volunteer work and involvement in helping in her community. The work she has done helping others living in our community has been above and beyond for a full-time student. Thank you, Haven.
Haven is kind, helpful and has made a huge impact on those around her. She is a natural leader. Her work to assist students that do not have school supplies and school clothes has grown and is such a beneficial tradition. She is mature beyond her years.
Last year Haven had clothing donation pickup the day after prom at 8am that is just a small example of her commitment to serve others. I think we have only begun to see her desire to serve the community! She is and will continue to make this world a better place.
Such a good heart, who has helped so many people in her community. Im so insanely proud of her!

Haven is a wonderful role model to her peers. She has embraced the concept of being a productive and helpful community member by organizing and doing a clothing drive and give away. All this while completing her high school and encouraging other young adults and community members to participate. What a great, considerate and wonderful member of our community.
