I just blinked and saw 500 signatures on the screen which is just honestly wild because I really thought this would just be me and a few friends arguing into the void. It feels like the neighborhood actually wants this as much as I do so now I have to figure out how to be professional when I show this to the board.

My group are regular customers of Jason and his team, and mentioned numerous times that a Scottish pub should be serving Scotch Whisky! I'm sure we are not alone. I wholeheartedly endorse this petition, and believe that it will help this wonderful eatery and pub grow to it's potential!!! Best of luck!
In the five plus years the Haven has been open, it has become a community staple. Being the only Scottish restaurant in the Boston area, it stands out against the rest. The one thing that could improve the overall experience would be to enjoy a single malt after a Scottish meal.
A wonderful pub committed to giving Bostonians an authentic Scottish dining and drinking experience. Serving scotch whisky is an essential component of this mission. Let them do it.
The Haven is a responsible, definitive asset to the Jamaica Plain community. I I live right down the street from the Haven, and this excellent contributor to the neighborhood should be permitted to serve its customers with a full liquor license!
The Haven is an outstanding restaurant / pub that is the only place in Boston where you can taste Scottish cuisine. A full liquor license would allow patrons to sample Scotland's #1 import - Scotch whisky, as well as other liquors to enhance the dining experience there. I fully support The Haven's petition.
This is amazing opportunity for the city of Boston to support the success of independent business owners. Let them pour whiskey to accompany their delicious scotch eggs and fare!

The Haven should get a full liquor licence it is the safest least troublesome establishment in JP the police never need to be called there and besides, whiskies are part of Scottish culture for centuries. It's like a German restaurant not being allowed to serve beer.
