I just looked at the screen and saw 2,500 signatures which is wild because I honestly thought this would just sit here and gather dust (maybe a few views if I was lucky). I am still trying to process how many people actually care about this addition to the keyboard so thank you for paying attention to what I started.

I just woke up and saw we actually hit one thousand signatures which is honestly way faster than I thought it would happen. I really did not think people would be jumping on this so quickly but here we are and honestly it feels kind of surreal to see the count ticking up like that.

I don’t support the Confederate states of America, but I understand the confederate battle flag has come to be known as a form of southern pride, and even a rebel flag to people around the world. I believe it should be a flag to represent southern culture.
My family flight in both Am Revolution & War between states. I live in Spotsylvania VA, home of 4 major battles, a county where millions come to tour annually to discover theirs. I a, a student of American history. Give us our emoji, please.
Heritage not hate apple, please make this a thing. I have multiple black friends who wear and support southern pride. This may be risky but so was making a gay couple emoji. Please do this for us, we feel left out in this day and age.
It represents love for the South not hate for Non-white People. It also represents the desire for small local government over a large Federal Government. We agree slavery was wrong and have no desire to return the institution of slavery.
I think that this is an excellent idea,but I would also include Confederate soldiers Emojis as well. I have over 100 Confederate soldiers in my family and I would like to use these Emojis in posts to my friends. It would be to celebrate our heritage.
This is a part of American history and shouldn't just be wiped out. People seem to forget that the Stars and Stripes flag was originally a flag of slavery too. Shouldn't that one be erased as well then? How about wiping out the image of george washington? Over the course of his lifetime, George Washington owned or controlled more than 577 enslaved people. His involvement with slavery began at age 11 when he inherited 11 enslaved people from his father's estate.

Yall need to stop being so offended by everything. History is history. There is a jolly Rodgers flag. Stop crying, I don't complain about the pregnant man emoji, I just don't use it. Stop trying to control what other want to do, live and let live, that's freedom.
