As of recent, in my school district beanies have become prohibited. The only way one is able to wear a hat is that it is for a medical or religious purpose. Mine and my friends idea is to make it a religion, the purpose of it being for free individuality and the able to express yourself and be creative. By ' believing' in this does not mean you need to abandon you're current beliefs, it is an open religion that welcomes all. The main concept of it is not only around hats but how we should be able to wear and write what we please (up to a point. Nothing offensive towards a certain group of people or anything like that. This is all about expressing ones self while excepting others, judgement and hatred towards people is very against what we will stand for.) and to note the importance of being an individual and finding yourself in your teenage years. We strongly encourage excepting others for who they are and are very against bullying in all forms. The name for it is unclear so far but when we have enough signatures we will ask for everyone to help us decide, because this is a group effort and we're a family. The reason for the number of signatures is because that is the common amount of followers needed for a religion to be considered liable.
