Would help so many horses.

This is an excellent solution to ensuring the papers are always with the horse. It would save horses' lives and increase the numbers of registered Arabians horses. A win-win for everyone.

Please consider this!

This is a must! Either we give papers to the horses for life or allow this. Many horses go to slaughter or Mexican rodeo! This may help keep our Arabians home.

This would sure help horses with lost papers and give them a second chance.

This should be made available to all people acquiring an Arabian (not just rescues) with proof of ownership. Not being able to acquire registration papers (no matter what the circumstances) on horses that have DNA on record through AHA is unexcusable. The papers permanently belong with the horse. Period. Freeze branding should be required. It’s an easy visual identification that stays with the horse. This would have saved many Arabians from a death sentence.

Can't ride papers. This is only fair and decent.

I've been a member on and off for over 17years. Would be more likely to renew and maintain membership if this were passed.

I think this is a great idea! People don't realize they are giving these horses a death sentence by pulling papers and dumping them at an auction.

I let my membership lapse because I have a rescue mare that was never registered and I can't afford to at the current rates

Please pass this. It will give more incentive to save an Arabian whether in a kill pen or other seller because the horse can be registered. It will help increase participation in AHA shows/ endurance and awards. Let's do this for the horses. It is the right thing to do. Please pass.

In 1994 AHA had hardship registration this was done by court order

AHA needs to step up and give horses a second chance. The plight of the American horse is great and our Arabians deserve as much of a second chance as other breeds and a horse that is able to be shown in the breed shows has a better chance than one that cannot be.

This should be done quickly. There is absolutely no reason to not have a hardship registration clause

Think of all the horses we could save if we could get them registered!!!
