This change would help rescue organizations find good loving homes for the horses they work so hard to save. In addition, it would increase the number of horses eligible for AHA shows and draw more people to participate in AHA events.

I have a rescued Arabian gelding that was seized and owner did not release papers. Though he looks and acts more Arabian than my daughter's SE Arabian I can only show him in open breed classes. He really is a phenomenal horse that I wish I could show off more at the Arabian shows. Please grant us the chance to show everyone else these great horse of athletic build and beautiful minds and dispositions! Thank you!

Please change the rules to allow hardship registry at a decent price! Rescues have heritage, too.

Being a volunteer with a humane society that takes in unwanted horses, this would be an awesome idea.

A wonderful idea! It is so sad when horses of obvious Arabian heritage are denied their heritage due to the negligence of former owners!

All of these horses deserve their heritage. How are we to teach new people to the breed without them understanding the importance of geneology and their background.

Insane prices? You really ought to look at OTHER registries if you think that AHR is high with their prices...

Agreed. So many beautiful arabians out there being thrown away because registration has been lost. It would help support the local clubs and shows

I think this would be great! I know many girls who don't have the opportunity to show their horses because they can't get access to the papers.
