Hardship Registration for the Arabian Horse Association

This may increase participation in the shows and stir some interest.

I bought an arab stallion (gelded him) without papers or any thing about his pedigree. I would love to register him even if it is as a half-arab.

Hopefully Arabian Horse Association board will finally see the light with this! It would increase revenue on many levels! Coastal Arabians & Equine Rescue has horses that have DNA match but has been unable to get prior owners to respond. Please help new owners and the horses get back what is rightfully theirs! Please help under Regulations already written! REG 127. Sale Without Certificate of Registration If a registered horse is sold without the Certificate of Registration, the certificate must be surrendered by the recorded owner to the AHA Registry for cancellation. The AHA Registry will record such cancellation on its records. Then allow for a process to get the papers transferred !!!

I only see positive coming from this, it will help the rescues that are saving the ones dumped to find homes with show interested families. It will also bring more revenue and competition to the shows.

I have been an aha member in the past and may join again at some time. I own a registered Arabian.

Please allow Arabians to be reunited with their heritage! It’s necessary and if we are EVER to keep the breed thriving this must be done. I’m so disappointed that there are papers being withheld, time to step up AHA! And we need sanctions for breeders that dump their non-registered horses (often year after year), and withhold papers. Accountability is needed, this is an obvious first step.

I have an Arabian mare who was abandoned at a boarding facility before I got her so no chance to get her papers from old owner. I would love to have something for her

Please help people that are rescuing Arabians that others have thrown away.

I have an Arabian who is registered, but the former owner has failed to transfer the papers to me, even after reaching out to him many times. AHA has even reached out to him! My Arabian deserves to have his ownership registered, and his history maintained.

I have a little flea bitten gelding that is unregistered, he is without a doubt an Arab but just wish I could get some kind of papers on him.

I am currently trying to register an amazing half arab gelding who's DNA is on file. The breeder wont sign the papers, I believe due to mental illness. I just want to use this boy to his potential.

Not a member at this time, but will be working on rescues in the future and this would be very helpful.

A special hardship registration which allows ownership, pride, maybe not breeding could save many lives!

I have a couple rescue Arabians that I would love to have hardship registered. I know they are both purebred as I know what farm they came from but not sure of who is their sire or dam.

It is important for everyone to enjoy the beauty of these horses and this will surely help.

My Arabian stud colt can't get registered because of the lady's that gave him to us refuse to sign the paperwork needed to register him.
