Hanover needs a skatepark. It will keep kids out of trouble. Give the youth something to do on free time and keep them off drugs. If it wasn’t for skateboarding I don’t know where I would be today

We had a skatepark at the YMCA that was great and even open to non members. Once it was redesigned and rebuilt, it was done poorly. We need to get another skatepark in town. It can only have a positive impact on the well-being if the kids and families that will use the skatepark.

My son is a huge fan of scootering/skateboarding. He is often getting yelled at for scootering around, even on public sidewalks with no “no loitering” signs and nowhere near businesses. He’s come home in tears over some people. We have littler ones so it’s difficult to pack everyone up and drive an hour away so he can scooter. This would be so much good for him as well as many other good boys wanting to avoid trouble and conflict.

In times like this we can all show some love and support and want better way then a skatepark???? I know when I go to the skatepark I always feel the love and see people being so happy doing something they love
