The council finally approved the plans for our skatepark this afternoon. I keep thinking about how much easier this will make things for the kids in our neighborhood who have nowhere else to ride. Thank you for sticking with me until we actually got this done.

I have been scouting potential spots around the neighborhood where we could actually fit a park. It is frustrating to see so much unused concrete while we have nowhere to ride safely.

Seeing this kind of energy for a skate park in our neighborhood hits home because I spent my own childhood searching for a place to ride. The momentum we have built proves that our community is desperate for a safe space to gather and practice. This is exactly why I started this journey.

my brother has nowhere to practice. need this local asap.
PLEASE!! kids are always riding in the shopping centre car park and security is always chasing them off. give them a space!
